So if Perdue didn't "remember" Trump saying it how can he interpret Durbin's statement as "gross misrepresentation"... *someone got a phone call in the middle of the night*

I'm ashamed to say Perdue is a lying sack of crap who doesn't deserve to be in Congress. His reputation means nothing because he is throwing it away so he can protect trump, who has told more than 2,000 lies since taking office.

I really dont understand why this is complicated...really. Senators Cotton and Perdue should tell us exactly what the president said. It is that simple. Why do we keep asking them if something is true or not. Let them tell us exactly the words that they heard!

I’d also like them to define Merit, Meritocracy, Character, IQ rationale and match that with their own. Then let experts have at it too analyze, and publish. In fact, Trump, DeVos should also be analyzed. Should be entertaining. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meritocracy …

Yes because it was a closed door meeting and Durbin totally misrepresented and redirected the public attention to a highly charged emotional issue that obfuscated the purpose of the meeting. Trump has hired and worked with people from all races, genders etc. Move on.
