        NATO Ally. Hope we never need their air force. Not that they'll do anything to help NATO judging by what I see and hear coming out of there. They want to return to the Ottoman Empire days.

        Phenomenal blunder. A big bird weighing 900tons, 50+lorries, landing 12 meters from a non-reinforced cliff edge? On ‘take off and landing’ the tonnage is quadrupled. That is why runways are made of concrete then topped with bituminous mix. Let the airport designers be put to task

        Thank God ! Such incidents must be taken as feedback on airport condition. There should be enough space between the runway and the sea, and skidding may be stopped or slowed down by using a strong net across.
