After 37yrs of conservative Reagan Era: w/ low tax rates; free trade; globalization; mass incarceration; family values; demonizing govt & free press; war on the poor, women, science & labor unions; leave it to the Gray Lady’s conservative op-ed writer to declare “liberalism” dead

Advice: Actually read the article. Ignore the Russian bots that responded 3 seconds after this was posted.

Crap article, with a silly premises that is poorly developed. And hey, ONLY Americans would begin to fall for this garbage. If US schools were better this sort of propaganda would be laughed out of the building.

As I see Govt, it should only set the stage, not be an actor. It sould let ppl decide for themselves because the cost of Govt ultimately drains the ppl dry, creating only ever more ppl jobless poor homeless sick hungry, not what ppl want & the opposite of political promises

Still no better alternative. Let's be honest. Remember that liberalism is named after "liberty". Any better alternative to that? I think not. The only unresolved conflict is, how to tolerate freedoms and liberties of others if they seem to impose on ours!
