        By “climate change” do you mean the glacier grow/melt cycles that have been going on for millions of years before humans existed?

        What matters here is the rising ocean levels affecting coastlines all over the world. Whether caused by the burning of fossil fuels or nature something has to be done about it

        Redrawing flood zones is about all that can be done - no law or govt policy will affect glacier grow/melt cycles.

        The point is yes flood plains will have to be withdrawn and sooner rather than later. If carbon emissions are indeed contributing to global warming then we have to do what is necessary to reduce emissions.
