"If you asked the 20,000 retirees who are part of the class, they would say Mike Webster should be paid first.” But Webster's family has been cut out of the $1 billion N.F.L. concussion settlement.http://nyti.ms/2Fw6SiJ

The @NFL systematically hid and denied the existence of CTE for years and this is how they compensate the family of the man who had led a miserable existence during the last years of his life and in whom the disease was first discovered? Absolutely disgusting.

Mike Webster is by many the greatest center to ever play the game. And this is how the @NFL treats his family. Total greed on the NFL's part!!

This is tragic. Hopefully the family will receive the resolution that they desire..they have suffered enough hardship.

What in the world. Mike Webster's family should be compensated not only for their suffering, but for bringing awareness of CTE and its debilitating effects not only on the athlete himself, but also the toll it takes on the family.
