Why are we revisiting this- was the world crying out for this movie to be made? Am I that out of touch with the cultural zeitgeist?

Sure. Because a movie 23 years later, that she was involved with, proves she didn’t know a thing about what she absolutely knew then about the attack on Nancy Kerrigan. 🤦‍♀️

See young folk, when your elders tell you how much more serious & intelligent news was back in the day, just point out all this nonsense.

Clearly no one here bothered to watch the 60 min special. Easier to see the world in black and white. Literally. No context or nuance. Sad

Maybe if she had told the truth rather than interfering with the investigation. Imagine how her life would have been different. Unless she WAS involved of course, which might be why she lied?

The problem for Tonya Harding is that people who don’t accept responsibility for their actions never rise above them. She wants to be seen as a victim and would like an apology. She wants “everybody” to eat the crow she can’t digest.

Now she's met the #1 qualification to run for president. Her morals and ethics mirror the piece of garbage currently occupying the Oval Office.

The film did bring the lmost forgotten story to the forefront. And we learned a lot of back history. But, unfortunately, no conclusive evidence one way or the other about what Tonya knew when. Just like before. Waters are still muddy. I’m sorry for THAT.

This is what happens when you make a movie to glorify an idiot and then give her airtime to speak. This is beyond stupid. With everything going on freaking tonya Harding is what we end up talking about 🙄🤮
