Why CONGRESS does not #CensureTrump NOW? If this is not ENOUGH to start ACTING instead of just criticism & empty words, what will trigger #CensureTrump ? if no Action taken, they will be ENABLING his behavior to continue! #CensureTrump NOW!

The president’s exact wording— “shithole”—needs to be in the headline and in the Tweet. We know that many readers will only see these elements and/or will have their impressions shaped by them. Euphemisms diminish the offense and change the story.

In 9th grade, I gave a talk on Haiti for a Model United Nations meeting. I did not refer to it as a "shithole country" as nowhere in my research did I see anything to indicate it was, in fact, that. Sorry, @realDonaldTrump but you get an F.

The @washingtonpost obviously decided differently, and I wish you had too. You need to update your standards to the reflect the aberrant presidency you are covering.

"Disparaging" hardly indicates the explosive, racist, naked vulgarity of the story. It's a bit pearl-clutching when it is a watershed low in the modern presidency and public discourse. Times, do better.
