or maybe she shouldn't have said she would do it for free. Wahlberg said you have to pay me for my reshoots. I am sorry she is at fault.

It was her agent's fault, and Mark is the actor who pulls the crowd to the theater.

I will consider seeing the movie on one of two conditions; either it's confirmed that Marky Mark has donated the full $1.5 mill to charity (preferrably on gender equality) and/or Williams is paid a $2 mill compensation. Otherwise, forget it!

Of course it will never happen, I just felt like putting it out there. Saying it out loud; Someone might notice and maybe even reflect on it - or not ... but there it is.

““They could have my salary, they could have my holiday, whatever they wanted,” she said of the production team at the time. “Because I appreciated so much that they were making this massive effort.”” Was it her mistake to accept the role then?

I agree he should get more just because he is the more well known actor and might draw more of a crowd but that is a hugh difference. It shouldn’t be so much. And she is an accomplished actress not a novice. Also 1.5 million for 8 days work is way to much.

Also gives the movie a hole in its heart. I saw it before I was aware of the Spacey erasure and Wahlberg parachute. Couldn’t really get a handle on what the Wahlberg character brought to the story.

Based on her quote, she was willing to sacrifice because she wanted to support what the production team was trying to do. Being overly eager to sacrifice is a gendered trait; women are pressured to set aside their needs to benefit others, and then start doing it compulsively.

If your principles can flip this quick then they were never principles. The #metoo bandwagon looked profitable in the longrun and then #wagegap arrived and she couldn't lose: two virtue signals for the price of one and potential pay day Shameless behaviour and shameful reporting.pic.twitter.com/5WK8aeZOBm
