As if we don't meddle with other governments and their elections.

Define “meddle.” This article points to systematic attacks meant to indermine democracy and disrupt fair elections. Are you saying the US does that, and if yes, based on what evidence?

There is so much evidence out there. You must be avoiding it, if you don’t know about it. Just do a simple search online.https://www.channel4.com/news/factcheck/americas-long-history-of-meddling-in-other-countries-elections …

Wow. To all the "we do it too" people: that doesn't make it OK or mean that we should just roll over and let Russia manipulate us.

Unlike the US government who have never ever been involved in any kind of influencing a foreign government. in any way. Especially not in Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Asia, etc.

Isn't THIS your headline, NYT? "United States’ response to its brazen attack is being hindered by President Trump, a new report prepared by Senate Democrats concludes." Instead, headline is "pattern of meddling that's been going on for two decades" WTF NYT?!?

Until GOP, which currently controls all branches of government, stands up to The Yam who is ignoring Putin’s conduct, nothing will change. Sanctions still not implemented. This is about hacking & propaganda to undermine democracy. The “but we do stuff” argument: not a solution.

Here is the correct focus the media and government officials need to take. Putin is our sworn enemy; he despises democracy. Trump/GOP give not one shit about our sovereignty.
