For 14 years, a Brooklyn bodega owner has quietly been housing homeless men in his store's basement. "They don't have," he said. "And I do."http://nyti.ms/2qOS2Am

Great story but the Times sold him out. Using his name and business images, anyone can now look him up. Half the address is viewable in the photo.

God bless this compassionate soul. If people could be as compassionate the life will become much easier to live for those who are kicked by fate by making them homeless.

Bless this man. I pray there’s no horrible update to this story about the police stopping him. Seems like way too much info was divulged.

The things people get for not having money is insane. Not exactly a suitable place to live, even though the gesture may be kind to offer. Lots of abandoned places owned by the government sold at auctions that could be renovated into homeless shelters,

I agree & that is what makes it divine! To quote the Golden Rule, "Do unto there as you would have done to you", or, to take a line from my favorite play, Les Miserables,"to live another person is to see the face of God". People like this man give me hope😊❤️
