All that our educators endure and one asks a perfectly legitimate question, expects an answer and she winds up cuffed, on the ground & led off to jail. Smh This is wrong on so many levels. The Superintendent should have come to the defense of his employee. Smh

So this is what we've come to? A person says something "the powers tht be" do not want to hear and that person gets handcuffed and arrested?! Hard to believe there wasn't another way. #freedomofspeech #stopthebullying

Teachers do so much for so little. They deserve an honest answer! She is absolutely right...why can't that raise be given to the teachers to help them in the classroom or even applied to the school funding for materials and resources? Shame!

Those in a position of power do not deserve more money because of that power. They earn that money through work, not a vote. It is reasonable to think teachers should be paid more for more work loads. But what do I, a soldier if the army, do I know of earning positions and money.

Corporations do this. The top executives get 20-30% raises while most employees get a 2-3% raise. I don't have exact figures, but CEOs now make about 300x more that the average pay of their workers. Why do executives get a pay raise more than the average raise of their employees?

Perhaps, perhaps not. I was on a project where the manager was incompetent, and I and rest of the team saved the project that was responsible for at least 50% of the revenues. If we want to have a strong economy, then real wages need to start increasing soon.

The inappropriate arrest isn’t the real crime here, it’s that these teachers haven’t seen a raise in 10 years. We all need to stand up at these types of meetings and demand the same answers. #Teachers
