Plastic should have never been used at all. Plenty of companies use natural microbeads from things like coconut shells that are natural and biodegradable.

Wow! Never would’ve imagined this impact on the environment from these cosmetic products. Thought they were biodegradable. We must do better and be better stewards of our God given environment.

What human generated waste do you believe has been the greatest contributor to ailing water bodies?
-
Prescription and OTC drugs. Look it up.
-
Not including OTC and prescription drugs in the poll was deliberate.pic.twitter.com/Uzt0TBwUJ3
-
It is the worst and biggest problem with source water in the United States that has been hush hush for decades. Over the last 10 years the way we dispose of drugs has changed radically, but the problem doesn't go away.
-
That’s a false equivalency. The article addressed a policy implemented in the UK, not the US. While your statement is true to the US, it does not hold true to the rest of the world!
-
Not necessarily. It would be more of an unspoken truth, much as it is here in the United States. It is not reported on. Anywhere where medicine is dispensed or sold is subject. So any populated area of the world would have this problem.
