It would not be bending the law 2 provide a path to citizenship to those who have been here under tps, ie legal circumstances. This is outright racism.

Used and abused, if they have Jobs and are hard working and law abiding, let them stay,if they break the law and don't work then kick them out, these hard working people are the backbone of the country, love them, not hate them.

Basically, the administration will enforce any law that parallels their bigotry. Then invent law if it doesn't

If I am the GOP I'm thinking hard on: "how do we get the vast moderate US majority to believe that we are fiscally & socially conservative by principle and NOT inherently racist in practice?" Hmmm, lets kick out another 200.00 ppl of color who have been here almost 2 decades!

That's how the Right is these days. They have lost their soul. They don't care what is right or wrong. They don't care unless it helps them hate or makes them money.

My sister was almost murdered by an el Salvadoran man here illegally. He was put in jail for attempted murder . he was also charged with immigration violations. I wonder if he is still in jail or sent back home. Let me see

Do you know that during the potato famine in Ireland, this country was inundated with Irish immigrants and it was during that time that the US saw the biggest spike in crime in its history. That doesn’t make all Irish people and their descendants bad people.

And I also know that they were aware of the temporary status when they came here over a decade ago. I also know that the father of my nephew is a guatamalan here on a temporary visa that expired and he's not bad. I was only saying that not all are bad but some are

So expelling 200k Salvadorans won’t fix a drug problem or a crime problem. After 20 years Salvador is no longer their home. Immigrants created this great nation. I’m all for deportation of the bad ones, but not the ones that are here doing the jobs no one else wants to.

Next thing you know we won't even have to have immigration laws. Everyone is welcome and screw those who worked their way to citizenship status the hard way

You only had to present yourself and accept the laws of this country to become a citizen. I know things change but this people have been here for more than 25 years immigration back then was different than today.

How many of them have taken even a single step to become a citizen legally out of the 200k do you think? In your opinion. I bet less than 1/4 have

This are simple people with very little legal resources and there is NO path to citizenship through TPS. That is a provision that should have been implemented with TPS, even if it takes 15-20 years, a path to citizenship.
