I think her “forever girlfriend” Gail, was there also. How comfy.

Every girl has a "forever" girlfriend. And it does not have to be sexual. I stay in my own lane when judging people and their sexuality. Sorry.

No judgement, and no sexuality implied. Simply a statement of fact. But facts are frowned upon nowaday, aren’t they?

I said "forever" because I don't think they will marry.😉

I said forever because her and Gail have been girlfriends forever. No agendas here. I’m married. I don’t care who’s bumping uglies with whoever else.

Oprah's speech was amazing and she is an exceptional human. She should be celebrated. That said, we deserve a competent politician. I hope we don't keep looking to celebrity icons with no lawmaking or governing experience (as incredible and inspiring as they may be) to be POTUS.

She spoke well and with a much-needed message, but enough of celebrity candidates with little experience in actual public policy formulation and implementation as well as statecraft. Time for an appreciation of actual expertise to return

While I say "Dilly dilly!" to your opinion, expertly thought out and deftly worded, let's face it..we could (and have *ahem*) done worse.

Indeed; we had just such a person as I described (well-rounded experience, long years of both formal study & actual practice at governance) in Clinton, and Kerry and Gore before her, but that wasn't quite enough, sadly.
