Elisabeth Moss, who just won a Golden Globe, said this about "The Handmaid's Tale" in 2017: "We never knew that it was going to be this relevant"http://nyti.ms/2EiFYJI

They feel free to question Trump's mental health but totally OK to say we're living "Handmaiden's Tale" as women march dressed as vaginas That is a mental delusion needing immediate help.

Anyone who says it’s not relevant either hasn’t watched it or doesn’t care about woman’s rights. If you build a wall, it can keep people out or keep people in, it’s all about everyone’s rights.

I watched a few episodes & it reminded me more of ISIS than the US. (Tearing down of Churches & the use of women as sex objects) Women here have rights & I haven’t seen any threat to those rights. Can anyone give a real example? Not being argumentative, just want to understand.

1./ I’m responding because you specifically said you were no trying to be argumentative. I appreciate that and here is why I believe it is relevant. Watching a couple episodes isn't going to give you the whole story.

Good fuh her! Great show. It IS relevant. However, her belonging to The Church of Scientology, which has been doing some similar, deviously horrible things for years, is a bit ironic- so there’s also that.
