WTF was that except a bunch of word vomit? None of that meant anything. “Intersectional gender parity?” And she apparently knows better than th employer on the experience level and performance on who should be paid what?

So I’m a bigot because I don’t trust that Debra Messing has gone through the HR review and examination of the pay and performance of two employees at a company she doesn’t work at nor run that would be necessary to make her charge?
-
If she had, and the E! purposely and deliberately paid a woman less purely because she’s a woman (with all else equal) then they violates the 1964 equal pay act and should be prosecuted. I am tired of statements that are emotion and feeling laced without fact spoken as fact.

So I’m sure that Ms. Messing did some research here and reviewed resumes, performance, industry experience, degrees, and awards before making this statement right? Would she think brand new cast member to Will & Grace should make exactly what she does? Doubtful.

@IAmCattSadler has been with@enews for over ten years. -
And tenure is the only thing we talk about? And what about her performance? Her awards? Her rapport with her team? There is so much that goes into alleged pay disparities that when actual equal qualifications between male and female are compared this “gap” goes away.
-
And if there was a purposeful and malicious pay difference why in God’s name would you stay that long? That’s probably why she quit. And if those pay gaps can’t be explained for normal employee skill differences then E! Violated the law by purposely paying a female less.

I just saw it. Jaw dropping moment- flawless. It was amazing how she pointed out E! channel's absolute hypocrisy tonight.
-
How do you have any idea what the pay policy is? Do you know the experience, performance, tenure, or award/recognition differences between the alleged disparity between male and female cohosts? Doubtful but it sure sounds good to say.
