They (Congress) will have access to the latest treatments. They just don't care if we (the American people) do.

Congress’s focus on healthcare has always been weak and misinformed. Instead of helping those in need, Children, mental health reform, reimbursements in programs that are launching multi-modal therapies to help curb the opioid epidemic, they’re focused on tweets and walls...

Heart bypass as n France = $20,000. Heart bypass U.S. = $80,000 - $120,000. Same outcome. The difference is eliminating the middleman. In U.S. you can die waiting for your claim to pass thru layers of approval by insurance companys! Doesn't happen in France.

They should with their own money, of course. If they don’t have the money it’s because they are bad people who didn’t plan well and deserve what they have coming to them. SEE HOW STUPID THAT LOGIC SOUNDS?

Wealthy people will receive the “cure ” while the uninsured will get emergency room treatment for symptoms and given the address of the MD able to provide a cure. Good luck getting an appointment if you can’t pay.

Does talking about insurance as #healthcare depict the issue in terms of care, when it concerns access to affordable, or even free, treatment? It is not clear that congressional bills can buy care or that sufficiently diagnostic technology can give care.

But could doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, if they had fewer demands and more bandwith, take better care of patients? Could they be more instructive? What effect can this, too, have on quality of life?
