Um. What?

These are the kinds of articles that allow people to call even The NY Times fake news. Be better.
-
They’re just reporting on a movement— I found it interesting it’s even a conversation. I don’t agree with the argument and think it’s totally “grass is greener” & clouded in nostalgia, but interesting. Don’t fault the NYT for reporting on a current convo.
-
What they choose to (and NOT to) report in their finite print space is a P O L I T I C A L decision. There is no "mere" reporting.
-
The digital space is infinite.
-
Finite amount of time writing and publishing, in that case. Don't concern troll for the poor reactionaries; NYT has it covered for you.

I repeat: capitalists would much rather return to feudalism than progress to socialism. Since the end of the Cold War, the progressive gains working people earned through hard struggle have been relentlessly beaten back, to the point where the media now romanticizes monarchies.
-
I repeat, yet again: capitalists would much rather restore feudalism than progress to socialism It's not a coincidence that right-wing capitalists like Taki are pro-fascist and romanticize feudalism—fascism is murderous neo-feudalism used to save capitalism from self-destructionpic.twitter.com/aOSnVGSCCA

More proof liberals are ignorant of history, just outrageously oblivious, do you even know the the United States REJECTED the British Monarchy?pic.twitter.com/zzbtW9zlXy

The reporter is not advocating this. He is reporting on the beliefs of “monarchists”. I’m pretty sure that you will find both liberals and conservatives in the monarchist camp.
-
...and this is is a ridiculous belief to have for sure.

The monarchy is a part of the state. It exists to serve the people.pic.twitter.com/GOawEf6LlU
