The question for Masha Gessen, who won the nonfiction award in 2017 from the National Book Foundation, is how sustained and effective this political pushback can be over the course of 4 or 8 years.http://nyti.ms/2Ed1Bey

We all need to pull ourselves up, and keep being outraged. To keep reminding ourselves daily this isn't normal, we can never allow it to become normal, and finally. We have the power to stop this at anytime! We the people just need to be willing to rise up, and say enough!

With this country’s short attention spans... If Donald Trump didn’t tweet constantly, the masses would forget about him as soon as the next season of Game Of Thrones came out. That’s probably why he does it, to stay relevant and stroke his ego from us all talking about him daily.

Exactly. If I didn’t know better, I’d think that White House book was meant to distract liberals and progressives from the real work of the 2018 election. Imagine all that money and time going instead to support candidates in states with competitive races, and voting rights.

I'm worried that people are worried about "Outrage Fatigue". I was outraged by it, but got tired.
