How can one tape anything "tacit", i .e. "expressed or carried on without words or speech"?

If their acceptance is “tacit,” tapes are meaningless.

It's very clear that these phone calls were a prank ....shame on you and the New York Times to publish prank calls as if it were facts . it is clear that there was no previous relationship with the so called intellegence officer and they were victims of a prank call

Why should they call an actress/singer called Yousra over Jeurosalim? She is not a talk show personality neither does she make movies any more! This article is a piece of Swiss cheese.

This is fake news. Don’t make up a story that has more to do with the writers opinion here. Love seeing the word ‘Tacit’. Your trying to force a side. Countries publicly denounced but to this writer there was tacit approval when he/she pulled radically apart the words on a tape

Soverign of Judea, it is no one else's decision on where capital is within a nation except by the nation in question and whom is soverign. So granted upon the people of Israel right of soverignty to decide matter and was decided long before. Decided capital is Jeruselum.

Tacit? The journalism business does not suit you anymore Nytimes. From Egypt being a terrible ally to the US to being a failing state to tacit acceptance-what next? Ah- why not move to the business of selling koshary in Egypt? Investigative journalism is obviously not your forte.
