This is the silliest tweet I read today (and I've read all the tweets from the Orange Man)

What did you mean when you wrote: "She’s trying to reform Germany into what he wanted."??

Merkel is too divisive to be part of a newly formed government! Its time to call new elections and move on without her! A prime example is her immigration policy which has been disastrous for Germany.

The Union will represent its internal compromise (limit of refugees, hardly any family reunions); just today the call for expelling antisemitic foreigners; the estate tax & other wealthy-friendly policies; austerity for GER and other Euro countries; hesitation about quitting coal

It is interesting how perception of politics can change in just a decade. I am convinced that this program would have been considered "leftist" 10y ago. With the exception of estate tax.
