A doctor happened upon the underbelly of the drug treatment industry, where new customers are acquired. So he called drug treatment centers pretending to be different characters with addiction problems. “What I saw was pure opportunism.”http://nyti.ms/2Ee7vvY

It's the same all over. The hospitals would double-bill insurance companies in order to get more money. It's been happening for decades. The governor of Florida, Rick Scott's old company pleading the 5th 75 times claiming he didn't know that his people were defrauding Medicare.

Yeah, no wonder they want to permanently re-criminalize pot. Like psychiatric medicines that mimic LSD's activity, opioids are another venue for pain relief profits, only obtainable when pot is removed from the market.

Enlightening, revealing, saddening, infuriating, but NOT surprising. Unfortunately, there always are those ready to take advantage and prey on the desparate, ill, elderly, poor, and disenfranchised. Education is the first and best defense. We need more of it! Thank this man.

I've seen a commercial for The Addiction Network. Its obvious they don't care at the end when the guy says "I wish I had better insurance so I could get the best care". Stupid ad

Desperate to get my son treatment I was hounded by a "rehab broker" who no doubt was getting a kick back. Taking advantage of desperate parents as the clock was ticking. These guys need to go to jail! My son passed a month later. #OpioidCrisis

The article concentrates more on his fake personalities rather than the actual problems with the rehab centres. I almost get the impression that the referral process is corrupt but the rehab centres themselves haven't provided incorrect treatment.

My godfather and I played a board game. I won 31-28 - but considering he only played it twice, and lost 16-43 last time, I'd say he would deserve the victory for being a quick learner.
