I witnessed that in Oslo ans Bergen this summer: Teslas and BMW i3 are really common, there’s free powechargers everywhere and those cars are VAT free. Norway’s an advanced nation with the biggest sovereign petrol fund (around 1B) for the people! We should learn a lot from them

Yes and you can charge up for free as Norway has too much waterpowered electricity. And in the oilrich states gas is still 5-25 cents per litre. What is new?

Car with leaf springs? American car design and manufacturing is stuck in the 20th century. Fact.

Norway is also number 1 on the 2017 UN published World Happiness Report. That's what I call a positive evolving of civilisation.

. Just FYI @nytimes: You can run combustion engines on non-#fossil, #renewable #biofuels! They don’t need to reduce #rainforest or food production if grown sustainably (mixed-fruit cultivation e.g.) It’s not competition, we need an #EnergyMix ! Did you really not know that...?

In related news, Norway shares its Petro Profits with its People. In contrast, the U.S. just poisons the People's potable water via Fracking.
