It's absurd, they spend more than any other nation and don't have universal healthcare. Come on America, get with the times.

because other nations care about the welfare of their people more than the profits of their corporations. capitalists hate it when all get benefits instead of just those for whom circumstances allow.

In Australia we pay a levy, for that we get universal coverage. The public system is excellent for emergency and critical care (heart attack and cancer, etc). Not so good for elective. If your homeless and pay no tax you still get looked after, and that’s good for our society.

Healthcare is America is a big game, like only getting 5 free NYT articles and choosing the one on healthcare, but the link goes to a story on Macy's failing sales. Tells me all I need to know.

The American healthcare system is the proof that health care is a market failure. We European pay half for a better service.

The service is actually really good, but the accessibility and price are horrible.

Easy. The lack of a working health care system. Can learn much from the Netherlands, Canada, and plenty of others - mostly European.

Spoke w/ an Australian woman in visiting NY yesterday. She needed more of an Rx. Here: her 5 pills were $200. In AU: $2. #Shocking

Yes we do have a great health-care system in Australia. It supports all our people .Mr Trump also said it wss a great system. For the American people no.

Repeated poling for a long time has shown that the vast majority of Americans are in favour of universal health care. Why is democracy not working in America?
