This is a blatant ripoff of the @NYDailyNews’ Cosby coverpic.twitter.com/QRAZRo22zL
A man named Danny Kay was just released from prison after spending 2 years on a false rape allegation. Investigators simply took the accuser's word for it and didn't investigate properly. It took Danny Kay's family five minutes to dig up information that exonerated him...
By all means, when an allegation of sexual misconduct is brought forward, we should all listen. But blind acceptance is dangerous and potentially life destroying. Due process is just as important.
If investigators had put aside their preconceptions an innocent man would not have lost 2 years of his life. It took the man's un-tech savvy sister five minutes to find evidence of his innocence, the any decent investigation should have uncovered.
I've heard many people say the words "Listen and Believe." Listen, certainly. But believe the evidence. When we allow emotion to cloud judgment and muddy the waters, not only does it impede justice, but it can have ramifications for both the innocent and legitimate victims.
Whatever. How long til you guys run another "how do Trump supporters in Trump country feel?" story? It's been like a minute and a half already.
I guess that voice for truth excludes women who were harassed by Glen Thrush tho right?
Things are so bad at the @nytimes , even their commercials have questionable sources.
Except we know that is not true. Reporters know more than they ever print. Rupert Murdoch is living proof of the power to supress the Truth to serve his personal ambition. The Times is not immune to this abuse. That is the Truth it will never consider fit to print.
If the truth has power as your commercial says, why are you among the leaders in fake news?
