Okay, but it's been known as the suicide forest for years - long before this You Tube video. It's what people do there...

The Japanese people are very sensitive when it comes to the plague of suicides they suffer. When every disappointment and failure has a chance to inflict a despair so deep it leads to self-destruction, they are justified in their horror at Logan Paul's crass exposure. It hurts.

@DonaldJTrumpJr As published in NYtimes,"We don't want the forest to be known as a suicide spot. It's dishonorable."However, the publisher has no problem colluding with Colder Than Mars Crooked Hillary to publish with intent to make sure @realDonaldTrump is known as dishonorable!

They are, but although the Samurai code is firmly entrenched in the culture, it's being replaced with an effort to modernize. Think it started after WWII, but cultural change is slow.

Was seen. I think by and large they are trying to prevent it from becoming a macabre tourist attraction. They also don't encourage suicide, publicizing stuff like this can push people over the edge. It's a complicated issue and the YouTube idiots aren't helping.
