New laws are not going to stop people from using marijuana. The feds need to get tougher on home grown terrorism.

Word for the wise, don't challenge the peoples decision to allow the consumption of a harmless plant. They voted for it, deal with it. This is how our country works.

CA is defiant of American Citizens in general. It’s turning into a 3rd world country here. #truth #MAGA

I love that (often) repeated statement. However: CA has the highest # of homeless, people on govt access, close to bankruptcy (multiple times), tens of thousands of businesses & residents leaving the state, high crime, over 60% below poverty, etc. Please explain?

In 2016 there were 31,000 chronic homeless in CA out of a population of 34 million.

You’re way off on your numbers here as a recent study has Los Angeles alone with over 55k. Statewide the total number is over 90k. Completely unacceptable if you have a GREAT economy. Not enough being done here, period.

On any given night, the number of homeless in CA is a lot higher (around 130,000). The number I quoted is for the chronically homeless i.e. people who are homeless for an extended period of time.

Fair enough. But we all must agree that is way too high (and that number is growing daily) for a state with the wealth of CA. Why is that do you suppose? FYI: Mexico City has the worlds 8th largest economy yet Mexico IS a third world nation.

Secede* and no it's not. It's worth fighting for, yes. But not worth breaking up our beloved union. The people will win, I assure you. We just have to remain vigilant and keep our voices heard. More progress has been made in the last 20 years than in the previous 50 years.

BasilofBakerSt2: Thanks for the spelling correction. But California already threatened succession last year at the SAG awards. I lived in CA almost all my life. I am an actress, singer, writer, entertainer. TRUST it is a HUGE issue.

Wow, I had no idea. In that case, all I can say is this, don't break up the union. I mean that bipartisanly, the union of all our States is what makes this country so powerful. And if that don't convince you. I'll say this next, "over my dead body" yall aint going anywhere lol

They’ve already tried shutting us down in California with the Feds. They were met with fierce but peaceful resistance.
