Electric cars have some issues: cost of battery components; cost and availability of recharging power; cost of replacement batteries; cost of battery disposal. And of course range.

Norway allows people to charge their electric cars for free also. It’s amazing how generous and environmentally conscious you can be when you have such enormous wealth (from selling gas and oil)

And what’s the environmental impact of all those electric and hybrid vehicles? How much carbon and toxic waste is produced in the mining, processing, and finally recycling of all that #Lithium contained in the batteries?? 🤔

Price of gas is much higher so benefits are very pronounced to go electric or even hybrid. US should gradually start jacking these prices. Car sales & companies will adjust.

Hybrids use fossil fuel to run & recharge. Electrics recharge using power from fossil fuel power plants. No redux in carbon.
