The people didn't even decide to make Trump president. He lost by 3 million votes.

Is there anything that he has kept his word on? In the campaign it was all about state rights, and now of course he changed his mind but still the Trump supporters blindly follow it is feeling more like a cult for them not a president scary

The cowards won't because they know exactly how the people will vote. A vote on marijuana legalization threatens their financial interests in for-profit prisons

The People - at least where I live - DID decide, and that’s why recreational marijuana is legal here. The DOJ isn’t the boss of my State.

Hasn't the GOP battlecry been "protecting state rights"? Yea, only when it's someyhing they like such as more gun sales, abolishing access to women's healthcare or attacks on civil rights. This is one more chapter in Republican hypocrisy.

Um yeah. All the states where it’s legal were all on a public ballot. Read up before you make dumb comments.

The laws won't change. It's a multi billion dollar industry. Just wait for the lawsuits because they will be coming.

I don’t give a damn if people want to smoke weed. What I do care about is when they get high and want to drive a car.

Isn’t that the same as alcohol? We legally allow adults to imbibe, so long as they don’t drive. The expectation is the same.

I agree, that’s sort of my point. Alcohol is legal with the expectation that adults will be responsible. Why is this any different than something worse?
