Pakistan armed forces cleared all areas in Pakistan and near to Afghanistan border. All afghan taliban and haqqani are hidden in Afghanistan. US has badly failed in Afghanistan. Pakistan can survive without this so called aid money.

This vital counterterrorism partner plays both sides, providing sanctuary to Taliban, Haqqani, ISIS, And AQ fighters to launch attacks against Afghan and coalition troops. They harbored Bin Laden. They are no friends. They don't deserve aid.

Lol isis? AQ fighters? Obama said Pak was not aware of Obl presence! Intel failure. Perhaps world shud take over USA for 9/11 failure as US supported the guys who hit the buildings nd therefore supported terrorism in 90’s nd bloody fled whereas Pak had to live with the monsters

The US think anyone who gives it $$ should be its bitch. Pakistan has its own interests in the region, so it will do what is best for them. The US cutting these funds is only going to harm the US considering this "aid" went to reimburse Pakistan's military to do what the US wanted

The solution is to have an equal relationship with India as if the USA puts weight behind India who is caught for funding terrorism in Pak, Pak will respond to safeguard its interests. Solution is in a just and fair relAtionship only... not imposing Indias agenda on Pak

Ramping up operations in Afghanistan while alienating Pakistan is not a formula for success. Pakistan is a difficult case, no doubt. And not doing everything they can. So calculated pressure as part of a strategy might work. But what's the strategy? No sign of it.

Thats true, not sure if this US loose is good or bad for the world but, Trump is isolating the US and loosing all respect and geopolitical influence. So sad for US people and soldiers they don’t deserve that.

1500 To 3000 NATO trucks pass through Pakistan daily. International rates for this are $2000 per truck, the bill for 1500 trucks is 3 million USD per day. The bill for 17 years of free passage is $17 billion. Thanks to Mir Mohammad Ali Khan for the above stats.

Good question. The answer will be there to see in a couple of months. The turn of events in Pak & Iran can't be a coincidence surely.
