Elon Musk predicted that Tesla would be able to make 20,000 Model 3s a month by December. But in the past 3 months, it has built only 2,425.http://nyti.ms/2COkTqV

I predicted as much, but was attacked for it by Tesla cultists who didn't like the taste of pragmatic reality. The company just does not have the means to meet his lofty claims!

You guys predicted that he would fail in no time, yet Tesla is on the heavy rise.I anticipate that production will go up and doubts will die

Oh, I anticipate that the production will reach the 20,000 a month here shortly. They definitely missed the December deadline. It’ll happen

~2500 from oct to dec is really not much...but now with a production rate of 1000/week they will have already build the same 2500 cars by the 18th jan 2018!😉 20k mid 2018...maybe 😬

Just imagine how disruptive @elonmusk and Tesla will be when they do get to ramp up production? The Model 3 is the car that will change the world, much like the Model T Ford was all those years ago.

Nevermind that all car companys get heavily subsidized for developing OLD technology and nevermind that amzon did lose money for YEARS. Tesla makes a ~25% margin on all MS and X and they will make 20-25% on the 3 as soon as prodution is up. They just invest heavily into growth...

Monorail man strikes again. You should report on the NDA Tesla makes you sign when you car breaks down and how the government is basically funding everything musk does as he loses money.

Somehow this feels like a Ponzi scheme. A lawsuit against Tesla seems only a matter of time.
