She speaks out against sexual harassment but is leading an organization that perpetuates sexism and judging women solely by appearance? And don’t respond that it’s a “scholarship competition” because we all know what it really is.

When there are "Scholarship Competitions" for men that involve wearing swim attire, maybe I'll believe that fantasy.

Why do we still even have this nonsense? Haven’t we as a society moved past something as completely vacuous as beauty pageants?

Being beautiful should not be a qualification for anything. Don’t want to be objectified, stop being an object

It’s 2018, maybe we can be done with parading women around in pageants?

How about doing away with sexualizing women in the first place? To say pagents have noting to do with that begs the conversation about layers of make-up, hairspray, gowns and putting beauty on display for a crown.

Just change the swimsuit competition to mandatory 1910 era suits, no makeup or professional hair dos. Maybe require scarves. We have to make this as asexual as possible.
