Some homeowners are rushing to pay next year's property tax bill before the new law goes into effect. But the IRS issued new guidance that those people may not be able to save the money after all.http://nyti.ms/2Ca969v

These homeowners must have spare change just laying around. I don’t know any who can afford to pay in advance.

This new tax law is a sham. If GOP wanted to lower people's taxes, why not lower taxes across the board instead of creating winners and losers, and then giving the majority of the tax breaks to the wealthiest.

The people they should be upset with are themselves because they voted for the higher taxes they are paying, they are just throwing a hissy fit because the rest of the country isn’t paying it off anymore, well too bad and if you don’t like the higher taxes, then lower them!

Congress could retroactively reverse that opinion IF we could awaken our recessing Members. Time for a work ethic in Congress.

It doesn’t matter anyway! The standard deduction is now doubled. That means the tax bill for all but the wealthiest Americans will now go down. Stop obfuscating and tell the truth! #taxbill

The tax plan does not live up to the promises Trump made to the American people, it makes meager cuts for middle class, gives significant tax cuts to the ultra wealthy & individual income rates will not be simplified & are higher than promised. Liar

Then @AGSchneiderman needs to sue the IRS. The state of NY should also challenge the tax law in court as it unfairly targets individual states for tax hikes and withhold tax contributions to the federal govt until its figured out in court.
