Many space-starved homeowners are replacing a tub with a chic, high-end shower. But will they regret it?http://nyti.ms/2Dxn5SJ

really? Wouldn't it have been smarter to click on different subject matter - say Iran or Trump? It's just so easy, if you don't want to read article, don't click on it.

I have lived in a house with two bathtubs for 12 years. Not once has a human bathed in either of them. All showers.

Tubs are far nicer than a shower. They relax the body more than a shower. You can also add Epsom salts etc to soften the skin.

Counts the number of baths I've had during the last decade, compares it to the number of showers... Nope. Do not need bathtub.

Also way easier for horses to take showers than to get into a bathtub anyway. These new cheap resin tubs punch right through with a single ill-placed hoof, and decent clawfoot cast-iron is hard to come by anymore.
