I don't think that's a long lasting solution. Our politicians (I'm German) are extremely slow. In my opinion it's not racist to say young testosterone-carriers from countries where women are treated like worthless objects are absolutely in the wrong place here!

Good initiative. These precautions were not deemed necessary a couple of years ago. Wonder what has changed.

That is a lie. That zones already existed 20 years ago, when I celebrated New Years Eve in Berlin. The German Red Cross provided support for sexual assaulted girls and women at that time already.

In the mean time, it is still said that nothing happened last years. But this safe area will be created especially for women 🤔

Germany becoming more like Middle East every year. Now segregation of women. What next, dress codes & curfews for females ( for their own protection ) ? Get rid of the Moslems and problem solved.

I don't know when you were in Germany last time at such big event as a woman, but those safety zones are provided by the German Red Cross since many years, long before we took in refugees. To blame it on refugees or muslims makes you look like an idiot.

You fail to accept Muslims are 10 times more likely to offend. You are either ignorant or in denial or both.

I took took care last week for 13 women. 12 with german husband or boyfriend. One of them lost her unborn child when she was 5 month pregnant after her boyfriend pushed her down the stairs after he raped her. So excuse me Mr. Australia if I don't care what you think.

I see the reality each day and that prove your points wrong in my case. Which means you need to look for another person to convince of your racist and islamophobic opinion. For such things is no space in my life. Have a nice day and a happy new year.

really bad choice of words. it‘s not an area - just a tent, a security point. quite normal and not worth the fuzz, but obviously good to have for all kinds of assaults happening at big events.
