No thanks. From the parts I heard on @Lawrence it’s the same old Trump, but worse. And he was completely unchallenged. That’s not an interview.

I read the interview, and I use that term loosely. Sadly, your description is spot on. I guess the Times knows that if a reporter actually challenges Trump he’ll shut it down and walk out. So he’s just allowed to ramble. And ramble. Why bother, NYT????

I think he knows exactly how to play people. Smoke screen. We talk about how moronic and narcissistic he is...he signs an EO to deregulate assisted living facilities. The art of distraction

This can hardly be described as an interview by any definition. Shame on you @nytimes.

Or maybe well-played? There is really no way to interrupt his stream of (dementia) consciousness at this point, so let him lie on record.

I get that. But I expect at least a question, particularly when the lies are so egregious.

He won’t ever stop lying, so maybe the goal of the interview was to allow him to reveal contradictions, ignorance & staffers follow up.

It would have been important for the @nytimes to report in its article that the President of the United States is unable to form a cogent sentence -and not just leave a smaller number of readers to discover that in the interview transcript. The reporter’s “questions” were useless
