Many space-starved homeowners are replacing a tub with a chic, high-end shower. But will they regret it?http://nyti.ms/2pDa87W

We use our tub to contain the litter box.

Walk-in tubs are both functional and cool. Take up less space, have jets, etc. Not just for Grandma anymore.

There is nothing more useless and bulky than a tub.

As you get older, the tub gets more and more useless. Not only does it become more difficult to get in and out of to take a shower, it becomes nearly impossible to get out of a run when seated in it. A shower with a seat and bars is the best.

I did this and then I realized I had done a bad thing. Where the hell am I supposed to take a bath now? Sounded like a good idea to convert it to a shower and then my back pain roared up. Plus I can’t read in the damn shower. Help.

Parents. Parents with young kids care about having a tub. Because bath time with toddlers is simply magical. #earlyedpic.twitter.com/BsD5G0mTmW

I replaced my tub with a tiled shower almost a decade ago, and now that I'm older, I DO regret not have a tub to soak in to relieve arthritis pain...keep your tub people!

The comments are hilarious. Who knew the tub/shower issue was so political?
