Right, except @ckrausss & @KirkSemple REFUSE to mention the "S" word. [Socialism fails & kids starve] "That wasn't real socialism" [Socialism fails & kids starve] "That wasn't real socialism" [Socialism fails & kids starve] "That wasn't real socialism" Priority: sacred cow

I have friends in Venezuela that have told me 1st hand what socialism has done. The proof is obvious. Socialism has never worked and will never work. Eventually you will run out of others people money / resources. There is no free ride.

Bernie Sanders: please go to Venezuela and help them fix their socialist state. I know you can do it. Also, after you fix it, please stay there.

Venezuela ran out of other peoples money and a reason never ever vote for a socialist/liberal/progressive. You'll all end up in poverty with food riots.

This seems like a perfect time to blame socialism and ignore other first world countries in a shameless act of political grandstanding. See what you did @SenSanders!??

If Venezuela defaults on loan from Russia, Putin could take control of Citgo refineries in the UShttp://thehill.com/blogs/congress-blog/politics/341555-venezuela-russia-deal-threatens-us-energy-security …

CFIUS would stop Russia taking control of any US refineries. The bigger issue is Venezuela is a major supplier of crude to the US. Losing that can push up energy prices which doesn't help America.

Oil refineries / energy production is a national security issue. The US isn't going to give up a chunk of its refining capacity to Russia. Think about why that is.

We all know about Uranium One and who profited from the sale. To even pretend that the Democrats care about US national security is a sad joke. Obama and Clinton should go live in Venezuela to understand what they caused those people to suffer.
