Uber and Lyft cars have slowed traffic in Manhattan to a crawl. One idea to fix it? Charge riders even more.http://nyti.ms/2BVJa17

Yes, how we long for the time before 2009 when there was no congestion in NYC.

Very kindly, you’re from Barcelona...you don’t live here and have to deal with the NYC subway everyday. It’s a horrible joke of a public transit system due to years of neglect. On the days it is working, there’s still no guarantee you’ll get where you want on time.

Uber's shift from its original model, black cars on demand, to car service by anyone for everyone has had dramatic deleterious social & infrastructural effects in San Francisco, e.g., drawing hordes more vehicles into the city daily. Once a solution, it's become a blight. ☠️

It is helpful and not expensive at all, so I think we need to thank these two companies. I don’t deal with yellow cab drivers who are in the phone all the time and who pretend not to have change to top the ride
