Are there other poorly filled-out ballots from this or recent elections that were allowed or thrown out? I say use precedent as a guide.

Seems possible. She referenced several recorded in favor of the other candidate that could have been contested.

Court challenges aren't cheating. Counting a clearly invalid vote as valid certainly is.

I wouldn't trust a bowl pick in Virginia. The only name in the bowl would the RepubliKKKon candidate.

They can't just take a previously rejected ballot suddenly allow it because it suits their fancy ffs. It was OUT and must stay out. The courts really need to look into this gerrymandering that has D's winning big margins only to be allotted 50/50. BULLshit.

She states that the recount process could be a never ending battle in the Courts if the Courts don’t take up her challenge for a never ending battle in the Courts. Laughable, well done Commonwealth.

I don't have confidence in any of Virginia's systems with this kind of law: "A drawing in the event of a tie—picking out of a bowl one of two film canisters with the candidates’ names inside—is decreed by state law." This process will produce an unwanted stepchild as the winner.

How about a news story looking into the various ways Democratic societies resolve ties? There has to be a better solution than this.
