Opinion: "To emphasize faith is not to cast out doubt. In fact, it is precisely to take doubt seriously, but also to understand the doubter more completely"http://nyti.ms/2pwfGkv

There is nothing more dangerous than faith without a doubt. Doubt forms, challenges & tempers faith. It also makes it stronger, wiser, humblier & more conscious. Blind faith is destructive because it never questions its values, goals, or conscience.

How can you possibly think you know anything about faith? Only in things that are temporary. But even a Mercedes can break down! Jesus is the author and finisher of the Christian faith. Unlike things that are temporary, He is our personal escort into heaven for all of eternity.

@AntoDiMario The majority of believers don't like to worry about doubts. They want to keep their ideas without having any trouble.

Let me clarify myself-- faith is not a reliable method for determining truth.

Having faith is the desire, the hope, that the doubt we have it is not real.....that we can overcome doubt...

This article wrongly suggests that having trust or faith in real people you've made real connections with is equally comparable to believing in someone we're not even sure exists.

Blind faith, without any thought or understanding is dangerous in religion or the secular world, as jihadi's and past communist socialist governments have proven.

Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion. -Steven Weinberg
