To understand rising inequality, consider the janitors at 2 top companies, then and now http://nyti.ms/2D41Jw2  This was one of our most popular stories on social media this year.

I had first hand experience with this, working for a global MNC. Every effort was made to squeeze the lower end of the workforce by outsourcing, benefits reduction, restructuring, and such, while increasing top management salaries and bonuses. It was sickening.

I liked this article a lot mainly because it showcased How unregulated capitalism is perpetuating poverty

"In the 21st-century economy, many millions of workers find themselves excluded from that select group. Rather than being treated as assets that companies seek to invest in, they have become costs to be minimized."

I’ve got a perfect idea: how about we shut down immigration both legal and illegal, so poor Americans won’t have to compete with third-worlders who are ready to work for half of what Americans are

I've got a better idea. Anyone who believes what you do can go live in a different country which is not the USA. USA is a country of immigrants. Immigrants and Native Americans

I’m not an American, you see, just saying :) but even I know that the US was founded by settlers, not “immigrants”. Settlers ‘created’ America, not immigrated here. I assumed that only public schools in my country produced ignorant people. Apparently not

As expected, can't leave a comment without an insult. Expected from such a beautiful personality. Why do you feel the need to comment on American immigration policy if it does not affect you.

Firstly, I’m entitled to have my opinion. Secondly, I feel compassion with American ideals, that’s why I care. Look, immigrants used to come to the US in order to become Americans. Every time the gate opened, it had to be closed later on.
