Right, all POCs have to do is work 4 times as hard to vote and everything will be fine. THAT'S THE DEFINITION OF VOTER SUPPRESSION.

"Complicates"? As in, what do nazi's do now to keep power? THAT kind of 'complication'? I loathe the NYT.

How does heroic work to get people to the polls over and above the obstacles complicate the debate?

Are you kidding with this? No voter suppression is good or okay. Our democracy is partially based on one person one vote. Disenfranchisement benefits no one and hurts many. Thank god Alabama residents were motivated enough to overcome the obstacles.

Is voter suppression ok if black voters manage to turn out in heroic numbers? It's fine that thousands were incorrectly purged from rolls?

We are going to have to be very vigilant for 2018 and 2020 - the GOP will be trying to suppress votes all over the place. We must be citizen activists, helping each other.
