Bring on death! I’d prefer it to people these days.

It depends on the people, it depends on the day. Having to deal with people at only a surface level is draining af and I'd rather be alone with books and music and plants and fur babies. But truly connecting with people or doing meaningful shared activities, there's magic there.

Yep but most the people I’m forced to be around are surface people.

And all of those FB groups & campaigns, with names like "You're not alone", really don't do much; other than provide people with the chance of posting yet another heart or sad face emoji Actually making sure that a person doesn't feel lonely/abandoned, takes more than a click.

No kidding. I am literally witnessing families being torn apart on Facebook. Right now during the holidays. The wedges are being driven by Putin, through Trump, the NRA and the Religious Right. It’s a diabolical plan that could only work in America.

Urban sprawl. We are isolated in subdivisions far from mingling places. Big yards, no social interaction if your kids are grown. As a widow I am living it.
