I’m in the middle class. My home cost me $149,000 a few years ago. This tax bill allows me to keep $3400 more of what I earn. Thank you GOP!

You will get less next year & each year after until 2025. Your tax cut is limited while corporation's tax cuts are permanent. Oh, and your insurance rates will skyrocket. You have to see the whole picture. Stop being short-sighted. They slipped it to you & you thanked them.

Well, when the GOP puts the permanent extension of these individual rates on an appropriations bill, i assume you will oppose Democrats voting against it?

That won't happen. But good luck having dreams about it. You're on the wrong side of history, my friend.

Literally the only reason the individual rates weren’t made permanent is because Democrats would have objected, meaning that the reconciliation bill that only required 51 votes would then require 60 votes to pass. Democrats are literally the reason rates aren’t yet permanent.

Let me ask you this. You were a Marine. Did you only serve for the Republicans or for ALL the people of the United States? So, you think it's fair and right for the GOP to totally leave the Democrats out of law making? What about the other half of the people you served?

Poor Mel, Can’t be happy for tax cut in any form and what would have happened if a Dem won? Sorry for the fact glass is half empty and applaud on the fact of KNOWING what’s going to happen next year. I wonder what all the Dems are going to do with the extra refund $.

My guess is that it’s a bot that responded. If not, certainly it’s someone who is mean-spirited and wishing to troll up anger...and not worth your time to try and persuade.
