Is that right? Well, watch Congress give up on the war on opioids then. 🤷🏽‍♀️

With lack of care and treatment of addicts, one could also call it a genocide.

Historically seen wars can take a lifetime. War on discriimination ongoing in courts daily. War on Islamic Terrorism ongoing since 9/11. War on Drugs ongoing through DEA.

just wondering, why when statistics are given in the US does it usually reverts to a racial issue, last week it was voting trends in Al,another time it’s those not in employment, violence committed by,drugs taken and so on..its like when there’s a negative story, race comes into it

It’s not a racial issue, the article is highlighting that blacks are unfortunately now dying as a result of overdoses, which many people associate with white/rural areas, as it clearly states. If anything, the article is proving that race doesn’t matter in a situation like this

Because apparently white, hispanic, and asian people can’t suffer from addiction.

I remember pain clinics open in florida 10 years before Obama was even president. Florida GOP let them stay open for 15 years even though most of the customers had out if state tags. We can play politics with this problem all day but it means it won't get solved.

#Kratom is the answer. It’s like coffee, less severe withdrawal and without the jitters. Remarkable, saved lives of 1000.

#THC testing in employment practises has perhaps unintentionally drove 1000s to choose benzos from Dr when #cannabis would be far safer. Too maintain employment you have to get prescription or drink alcohol. #Marijuana is 1000% unacceptable. #GOP Millennials; change this.

Opioid addiction is a rampant problem amongst wealthy white areas also. Addiction can happen to anyone regardless of color, class, etc.
