Climate change yes but also "runaway development, a near-total lack of planning, next to no sewers and only a limited network of reliable, piped-in drinking water" affecting 30M residents. A cautionary tale. You can't drain aquifers endlessly w/concrete everywhere.

Rising sea level is caused by global warming. World Nation apart from pollution control try to find out the ways to renovate sea water as RO and need to be cultivated & channelised bringing on earth to be used in drinking and greeneries of agriculture. Jakarta is just a starting.

Rising sea level & global warming are somewhat corelated ecological imbalance to have created by man himself by way of mining & firing carbonised fuels & harmful gases making affluent thereby. As an outburst of ecological imbalance, earth will some day may take a disastrous turn.
