You know what's tiring? The NYT lazily referring to this as a "debate" because the GOP says it is. Really? Who beyond the GOP and ISPs are against net neutrality? Britain just made NN a law there. You enable bad actors by falling prey to their "both sides" fallacy.

They need to limit their time on the net. Focus on schoolwork not social networking.
-
Just because we choose to speak out about things we care about doesn't mean we spend 100% of our time on the internet and that we don't focus on our schoolwork.

First world problems ...spoilt entitled generation.
-
Can you please explain more (but briefly) about your opinion? I'd like to know more about why other generations think (or claim to know) this.
-
I was only responding to Ana who somehow thinks the internet is a basic human right ...food, water, shelter, medial care and possibly education those are basic human rights...having a good show stream on the internet is not a basic right it’s a luxury.

Sounds like you are speaking from experience. Did you learn from own parents and teachers how to belittle other people? Did they do this to you? Keep $20, you might need it.
-
More like common sense. Net neutrality had only been around for 2 years previously and no one really noticed when it had been passed. Peoples reaction to the end of net neutrality shows they had no concept of it
-
Internet as we know it today was not the Internet from 2015, 2010 or 1995. It is rapidly growing and changing. Our lives are affected more and more everyday. Removing regulation and allowing ISPs freedom of limiting anything and everything is the stupidest move.

The most vocal group are kids who have no idea what net neutrality even means....sounds about right. No one wonder the left supports it
-
Do not look down on Kids. You might not know what Net Neutrality means, because “back in 2015 I was just fine”, but for kids these days Free and Accessible Internet is their Human Right, it’s a necessity of life like food, clean water, and shelter.
-
How old are you 12? I think maybe you need to go spend some time where people don’t have basic human rights. The internet is not a basic human right ...it’s a first world problem...something over opinionated millennials have become
-
Ask Australia, they seem to think that it is a human right. Also no, not 12. I spend half of my life living where people have no rights (unless dying is one?), so I’m good, but thanks for suggestion.
-
If you have spent one minute where they don’t have clean water there is no way you would think the internet is a human right...Australia is. First world. You explain how it’s a human right and I still guess you are 12
-
“No way”? You are saying what people should or shouldn’t value based on your possibly unrelated life experience. And when you disagree, you call them “a 12 yr old”. Great argument in support of your opinion, btw.
