The new laws effectively put the Polish courts under the control of the right-wing governing party, Law and Justicehttp://nyti.ms/2CLp6ug

OMG 😂 Sorry but we have right to reform our judical system. Poland, even as UE member, is still independent. Dictatorship? Have mercy... liberals screaming and we have a lot of fun looking at them.

The Nazis reformed their judicial system. The Kaczyński brothers have never had Poland’s real interest at heart. Too much based on ideology not pragmatism.

Don’t understand your point. My girlfriend is Polish and I know lots of Polish people who are very frightened at the direction Poland is going. Similar to Turkey

Sorry but why in Poland we cannot have judical system similar as in Germany? Or why POTUS can choose Supreme Court judges and President of Poland cannot? Any reason? So better read what we plan not what EC says...

You are clearly aware, that the German system is different to what PiS did. You should also be aware, that German constitution is different than Polish, and that what PiS did breaks our constitution. Welcome to jail. All PiSters will go there after they lose power. #depisification

Almost the same system is in Germany. There is ok but in Poland this is a “threat for democracy”??? Where is the logic?!

President Duda broke Polish Constitution not German one nor German law. That's the logic. It's not about the system or changing it. It's about respecting law binding us all.
