I live in the EU. I don't have a car and still I only used 2 taxis (and no uber) in the last 5 years thanks to public transportation. Taxis are not a necessity, especially not for poor/middle class people

Why would Uber do that - the judgment just says that individual member states can decide on own rules? (It’s like a ruling that this is not a federal matter and for states to decide.)
